My art is representative of the mood or interests I may have at the time. The colors and composition of my pieces are often to grab the viewer's attention. My aim is to produce work that leaves plenty of room for the viewer's interpretation. I am a very private person when it comes to my art, so I usually don’t like to fully explain everything, but instead ask to see what the viewers are feeling as they view it. Recently, I’ve been exploring mixed media, paint, and drawing in my work. Moreover, exploring the world of pouring medium. Although my work is often left to be more abstract, I often use figurative elements in my work because doing so makes the work more relatable to the human experience. These figurative elements are created with a consistent use of media and each work is intended to be connected both visually and conceptually to a larger body of work. Each work that I produce helps me hone my craft and teaches me more about how to better control and manipulate my media in the pursuit of mastery.
